An unlooper injects precise voltage glitches or timing faults into a smart card's microcontroller to force it to skip the instruction causing a continuous loop. Originally developed by satellite TV hackers to resurrect locked access cards, they are used in security research to bypass anti-tamper mechanisms and recover bricked microcontrollers.
Heard on the job
The test card locked up after the failed write, so grab the unlooper and see if we can glitch it back to the bootloader.
