A four-eleven box measures 4-11/16 inches square and is usually 2-1/8 inches deep, holding about 42 cubic inches against 30.3 for a 4-inch square of the same depth. It takes its own family of rings and covers and is the default when #10 and larger conductors, several circuits or big devices such as 30 and 50 A receptacles share a box. Catalog habits give it nicknames such as 2100 box and five-inch box.
Range circuit is 6 gauge, it won't fit a four-square, set a four-eleven box with a single-gang ring.
