A storage compartment built into the passenger side of a vehicle dashboard.

A small, enclosed storage bin located in the dashboard directly in front of the passenger seat. Originally designed to hold driving gloves in early open-cab vehicles, it now typically houses the owner's manual, registration documents, and provides access to cabin air filters.
