In presence protocols like SIP or XMPP, a presentity is the combination of a user and their device that publishes a presence state. It broadcasts status indicators such as online, busy, or away to a presence server. Other users, known as watchers, subscribe to this server to see when the entity is available for a chat or call.
Heard on the job
The presence server is rejecting updates because the presentity is sending malformed XML payloads.
