A historic internal codename and slang term for early generations of Intel Pentium processors.

An early microarchitecture designation used by Intel and hardware enthusiasts to refer to the original Pentium processor line. The term was heavily used in hardware development circles before official marketing names were finalized. It sometimes resurfaced as a speculative name for subsequent processor generations before they launched.
