A historic class of heavy express passenger steam locomotives used on the Great Western Railway.

A British railway term for the 4-6-0 steam locomotives of the Great Western Railway 6000 Class. They were named after British monarchs and represented the most powerful passenger engines on that network. Their heavy axle loading restricted them to specific main lines with reinforced bridges.
