A standard engineering and inventory marker indicating that a component fits only on the left side of a product, such as a vehicle chassis or machine housing. Left hand is typically determined from the perspective of the final user facing forward. These parts are often mirrored versions of right-hand components and require distinct part numbers to prevent assembly errors.
