A jokey name for the male half of any fit, such as a shaft, pin, plug or spigot, with gozouta sometimes used for the hole it fits. It turns up when two parts are machined to suit each other, as in make the gozinta to fit the hole. It doubles as arithmetic slang, as in two gozinta four twice.
