Narrowbody

nounStandard termAviation

A narrowbody is a commercial airliner with a single passenger aisle.

A narrowbody aircraft features a fuselage diameter typically between 3 and 4 meters, accommodating a single central aisle with up to six seats per row. These planes dominate short-haul to medium-haul domestic routes due to their fuel efficiency and quick turnaround times. The Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 families are the most common examples in global service.
